As Christians we are taught stay humble, don’t brag, and never show pride. I completely understand and agree with that notion. Yet I also believe it’s okay to celebrate when cool things happen in your life.
If your kid get’s straight A’s, then celebrate.
When you finally get that promotion at work, go out to a nice dinner and enjoy.
If you reach a goal, let everyone know.
You aren’t bragging. You are celebrating the blessings God poured out on to your life. There are two reasons you should celebrate.
- Success is better when shared with others.
- What’s celebrated is what’s repeated.
I tell you all of that to say, I want to celebrate. For the last thirty days I have taken Jon Acuff’s course, 30 Days of Hustle. Through this course, I set 2 goals for the month of October.
- Write 3 blogs a week for the month of October.
- Increase my website traffic to a certain number.
And I accomplished both of those goals this month. It was fantastic. Accomplishing goals is so rewarding and I appreciate every person who read and followed my journey this month. It’s only the beginning.
November will be even better than October. The best is yet to come. I believe God will continue to use me to make a difference in every reader’s life. Thank you for joining me and letting me celebrate.

Thanks for stopping in at my place! I am grateful that we have crossed (cyber-)paths and am celebrating your stats with you!!! I will pray God will use you mightily for His glory and show others the way to Jesus through you. I pray that you stay encouraged and find daily strength in His Word. Keep going and keep blessing those on your path with His Truth 🙂
